The Idea

Why our living trays matter.

No Refrigeration Needed

Your greens stay alive at room temperature. Fridge space is precious — they hydrate themselves until you're ready to harvest.

Soil-Free & Clean

No dirt enters your kitchen. Just living plants and trays. As clean as packaged produce without the plastic waste.

Harvest at Peak Nutrition

Cut only when you're ready to eat. You control the harvest window for maximum flavor and nutrient density every time.

Zero Plastic Waste

Reusable trays eliminate single-use packaging. The only byproduct is organic plant matter.

Cultivation Pipeline

From our grow room to your kitchen.

1 Soak & Germinate

Seeds are rinsed, soaked in filtered water with food-grade hydrogen peroxide to ensure cleanliness, and left to sprout in a controlled environment.

  • Rinse dry seeds thoroughly to remove debris.
  • Load into white mesh tray nested in water tray.
  • Fill water to 1 cm above the seed layer.
  • Add one capful of 3% Hâ‚‚Oâ‚‚ to mitigate mold.
2 Root & Blackout

Trigger: Clear taproot formation.

  • Place an empty tray on top with weight to drive roots downward through the mesh.
  • Keep water level to a thin film just above the mesh for hydration and oxygenation.
  • Mist seeds twice a day.
3 Light Stage

Trigger: Shoots begin pushing up the weighted tray.

  • Remove weighted tray and swap water.
  • Expose to light for minimum 6 hours per day.
  • Maintain water level below mesh and mist twice a day.
4 Distribute & Return
  • Fresh live trays are distributed for harvest.
  • Spent trays are returned and cycled back to the beginning.

Living Microgreens Guide

How to Harvest

Your greens are still growing. When you are ready to eat, simply hold a bunch by the leaves and use clean kitchen scissors to cut the stems about one inch above the white mesh. Harvest only what you plan to eat immediately for maximum freshness.

Care & Handling
  • Do not eat the seeds or root mat. Only the stems and leaves are intended for consumption.
  • Always rinse your harvested greens under cold water before serving.
  • Once the tray is fully harvested, allow it to dry; the roots and seeds make good compost.
